Recently had Mark & his team to carry some out some extensive building alterations. His quote was competitive. Mark and all members of his team were polite, courteous, professional and customer focussed. Due to issues with the design, through their extensive knowledge and experience they were able to overcome these issues but still being compliant with the structural engineer and building control (East riding county council). I add, the project still came within the time frame he had stated prior to start. Had Mark,Luke and Brandon do some building work for us and they were all knowledgeable , professional and a great team ,Not only did they arrive when they said they would but kept me informed on ever aspect of the work which they were doing at the end of each day Mark would explain what they would be doing tomorrow it was great communication from beginning to end , they also noticed a couple of little things needed doing as there were doing the jobs requested and just did them at no extra charge , the work they did was done to a high standard and If you need any building work doing these are the go to team , special mention to Luke you are the man big thanx to you guys for excellent job done

An excellent job carried out on pointing our chimney and wall, and repairing the brickwork for our bay window. Both Mark and Marc were professional and friendly, and just got on with the job without any fuss. The work was completed when they said it would be and for the price they quoted. Mark and Luke did a lovely job replacing blown bricks and repointing various areas at my home. Some of these bricks were a little bit tricky to get at but all replaced without causing any damage to adjacent bricks. They maintained a tidy work area ensuring any mess was removed at the of the job. They even hosed down the neighbours car that had received some light brick dust from the wind. I would recommend Mark and Luke for your brick and mortar repairs.

The guys have done a brilliant job replacing the lower rows of bricks on both the front and back of my house which were badly eroded and damp, and replacing the damp course. They have been polite, friendly and efficient and Mark even with a broken foot has made a point of checking in with me every day to keep me informed and to make sure it is all being done to a high standard. I have another couple of jobs that need doing and i will be using these guys for both as i am so pleased. With special thanks to little Marc and young Luke :-)

Very pleased with the work Mark and his team did on our property. They replaced eroded bricks and damp course under our bay window, and replaced some bricks and pointing on the back of the house to remedy some damp issues. We were kept informed at every stage of the process and the team worked professionally leaving everything clean and tidy.

Mark and his team did an excellent job fixing a worrying crack on the exterior of our property. They were very efficient and the new brickwork blends in amazingly, I would definitely recommend their company.

Very pleased with the work Mark and Co has done. They helped repair a leaky flat roof. Replaced with a badly fitted felt flashing with one that was properly chased into the wall to create a water-tight detail. They also helped with re-laying some roof tiles that didn't overhang my gable wall. Overall, I am impressed with Marks knowledge of construction and the workmanship of the team. Will use again for future projects.

Excellent work done to the highest standard

I had my garage repaired including the roof, replacement bricks, pointing, replacement steel lintel and arch to the side of the garage being part re-bricked. Really good job, well organised and clear communication. I would recommend!

Mark and the team solved a leak we had from our window, which had gone on for years and no one else could solve it. They came in and covered all possibilities of what it could be and managed to fix the problem. Cannot recommend these guys enough 👍

I have recently had some repointing to my house, chimney repair and garden wall brick work repaired.
The work was done to a high standard, in a professional manner with clear advice about what needed doing and what did not need doing.
Work was done on time and great clean up after everything was completed.

Good quality work and very efficient. I needed pointing doing to the front of my house at fairly short notice. They sorted the job out within the time frame I required, at a reasonable price. They were very professional, excellent standard of work, very efficient, went above and beyond to make the brickwork look good. I would definitely employ their services again.

Found this company very good, they came when they said they would, worked continuously until the job was finished and kept me informed as to what was being done and why. The guys were very amiable, and I will definitely be using them again should the need arise.

I’ve used Bricks & Mortar a few times, once for pointing and another time for a more major job. Very good with providing updates and progress reports with the job which was much appreciated. Easy to get hold of before and throughout the job. Prices are reasonable and seem to be in line with roughly what others were quoting.
